World famous entertainer and entrepreneur Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson paid a visit to Joe Rogan’s Austin, TX studio for a sit down interview. Before they got into deep conversation, Joe took the Rock through a three hour workout, complete with two rounds of cold plunge and sauna exposure.
“We lit it up, and everybody walked out with a big smile on their face.” Joe Rogan said of the group workout session, which also included comedians Tony Hinchcliff, Shane Gillis, Duncan Trussell and Ehsan Ahhmad, during episode #2063 of The Joe Rogan Experience.
“It was so good, it was so good!” the Rock added.
Talking about how he does most training alone, Joe said, “There’s a certain meditative aspect to being alone with your thoughts, and I like to be accountable 100% for my work.”
“Same for me with training, I love training alone. That is important for the mental, I feel like it anchors my day.” The Rock agrees.
For Joe Rogan, all workouts start with the cold plunge. He has a personal cold plunge both at his home and at the podcast studio.
"I must get it in. I like to start my day with it. It’s the best way, you get it out of the way, have a cup of coffee … and then go right into the cold plunge.”
For Joe, the cold plunge helps him deal with the stressors that affect everyone in everyday life.
“Just accept it…It’s good practice…”
